John Mittelstadt is a junior forward for the University of Minnesota, originally from Eden Prairie, Minn. He has been a consistent contributor to the Gophers, appearing in 34 games as a sophomore and 30 games as a freshman, highlighted by a goal in the NCAA Championship game. Mittelstadt developed his skills with the Green Bay Gamblers in the USHL and led Eden Prairie High School as a two-year captain. With a strong hockey lineage, his brothers Casey and Luke have also made their mark in Minnesota’s hockey scene.
